SFA Certified Online Instruction & Mineralogy Kits

It's a sign of the times... This summer I took the 6-week course offered by SFA's Center for Teaching and Learning to become an SFA certified online instructor. While I do not currently have any plans to offer entirely online courses in the future, I learned a lot of tricks and methods for improving distance education that should be useful this year.

I am tackling all of my courses as online/livestream hybrids this Fall, including Mineralogy. I put together kits that include ~40 minerals, plus the tools needed for identification so that students can work on labs wherever they are. It's an adventure!
